In every grocery store produce section, you will find a wide selection of “immunity” or “wellness” shots. You may be tempted to grab one or two, maybe even a whole box, of these $4.00 2oz drinks. What if I told you, you could make 16 oz for the same price, that’s 8x the amount! Shocking I know!
I fully support taking a shot right when you wake up…an immunity shot. So, let’s make it ourselves so we can get all the yummy health benefits without breaking the bank.
My go-to immunity shot is a mix of lemon, orange, pineapple, ginger, and turmeric. The great thing about making it ourselves is that we can add whatever we want! Feel free to get as creative as you want, add carrots, beets, seaweed (go crazy)

Ingredients:
1 – Organic Large Navel Orange
2 – Organic Lemons
1 Cup – Organic Pineapple
2 inch – Organic Ginger
2 inch- Organic Turmeric
1 Cup – Water
3 crank/turns – pepper (activates turmeric)

Instructions:
- Roughly Peel Orange and Lemons and cut into large pieces (Keep Peels to make a non-toxic cleaner)
2. Peel the skin off the Ginger & Turmeric and cut in half
3. Put cut orange, lemon, ginger, turmeric, pepper, and 1 cup of water into the blender. Blend until Smooth. (This is where we taste test! I usually add some more pineapple or honey if it tastes bitter from the ginger and turmeric)
4. Strain out pulp to make a smooth liquid. (I recommend keeping the pulp and freezing it, for when you are sick or don’t have time to make new shots that week)
5. Chill in the fridge.
6. Take a shot of this each morning!
